The Mastercard FAST Programme
WHAT WE DO:
The Mastercard FAST programme (Fund for Alumni Start-ups in Transition). FAST is a partnership of the Mastercard Foundation with CCHub Nigeria, MDF Global, Concree, Scale up, Savannah Innovations Lab, the Center for Enterprising Organizations, Inkomoko, and the Africa Leadership Academy (ALA).
FAST supports and empowers the next generation of entrepreneurs by providing enterprise support and connecting participants to business development training and a supportive network of like-minded entrepreneurs and mentors.
CEO Africa is responsible for the BUILD stage programme whereby we annually train, coach and advise 10-15 growth-stage businesses across the African Continent. The companies participate in 6 months of peer-learning workshops and receive up to USD15,000 for growth investments. We host an annual demo day for participating companies.
After the programme, companies become part of the SPRINT Entrepreneurs Association where we jointly work on Pan-African export and access to follow-on funding for all 500 businesses that will go through the programme from 2024-2029.
The SPRINT consortium, consisting of MDF Global, CEO Africa, CONCREE, Savannah Innovations Lab and Scale-Up Africa, is responsible for Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Egypt, Libya, Niger, Senegal, Madagascar, Congo-Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Mauritius, Mauritania, Madagascar, Morocco, Togo, Tunisia, and the Western Sahara Territory.
